The straight answer

Most fences here fail
at the ground.

Clay soil holds water all winter. A wood post buried in it is on a clock from the first day. That is why steel posts set in concrete are our standard on wood fences, not an upgrade.

The material you see matters less than the part you do not. We build the part you do not see first.

— Old fence removed and the site left clean

How we build

Three things that keep
a fence standing.

01

The posts

Depth, concrete, and steel where wood should not be. Posts decide how long everything above them lasts.

02

The layout

We lay the line out before digging, on flat ground and on slopes, so the run reads straight when it is done.

03

The gates

Gates take more abuse than any other part of a fence. Ours are framed in steel and hung for their size and weight.

Where we build

Thurston, Pierce,
Mason, and Lewis counties.
