Ornamental and decorative metal fencing

Ornamental metal.
For a polished look that lasts.

Metal is the material you choose when the fence should perfectly match the house. It holds a line without blocking the view, carries a gate beautifully, and does not soften with age.

The straight answer

Metal is a design decision

Every other fence on this site is chosen for a job: privacy, containment, boundary. Ornamental metal is chosen for how it looks, and it so happens to do those jobs too.

That changes how the estimate goes. With cedar we are mostly talking about line and grade. With metal we are also talking about how it meets your house, where the gate swings, what it does to the entry, and whether the whole thing looks like it belongs with the house from the street.

It is a longer conversation on site, and it is worth having on site. Metal shown on a screen next to your siding and your landscaping is a different thing from metal shown on a screen.

Good fit if
— The fence is visible from the street and has to look right
— You want a boundary that does not block the view
— There is a driveway or entry gate in the plan
— You are enclosing a pool and want it to look like more than code
— You want something that will not need refinishing seasons
Where it goes

Three places metal earns its keep

Styles, heights, colors, and gate integration get walked through on site, against your house.

Front yard and street face

Defines the property, keeps the sightline, and makes the house look finished rather than fenced.

Driveway and entry

An entry gate is the piece people remember. It is also the piece that has to work every single day.

Pool surround

Where code sets the height and the hardware, and you still want it to look like part of the yard.

How we build it

Six things we do on every metal fence job

01

We set the line by eye and by string

Metal is rigid and evenly spaced. Any wander in the layout is permanent and obvious. We take the time up front.

02

Posts go in concrete

Footings sized for the height of the fence and the ground on your lot.

03

Grade gets a decision, not a default

Metal can step down a slope or follow the grade.. That is a look, not a technicality, and you choose it before we build.

04

Gates are planned with the fence

Swing direction, latch placement, opening width, and how the gate works in everyday use.

05

We dig after the locate

Locates called and cleared, permits pulled where your jurisdiction requires one.

06

We leave it clean

Old fence out, spoils hauled, line raked back.

On price

Metal sits at the higher end because installation requires more precision, and the gates take more work. You are paying for careful planning, accurate installation, and a finished product that visibly upgrades your property.

No quotes per foot. Our minimum project value is $5,000.
