It is the only lifetime workmanship warranty among fence companies in Thurston County. Here is exactly what that sentence does and does not mean, in plain language, before you sign anything.
If something goes wrong with your project because of how it was installed, our workmanship, we come back and repair it, and you pay nothing for the labor. There is no expiry date on that while you are the original owner of the property.
That is the whole promise, and we have deliberately written it narrowly, so you know exactly what the warranty covers and what it does not.
What it is not is a guarantee that the fence itself will last forever. Weather happens. Trees fall. Ground moves. Materials have their own manufacturer warranties. We cover the part that is genuinely our responsibility: whether we built it properly.
We would rather you read this now than discover it later.
Every project has two warranties running at once, and most confusion in this industry comes from people blurring them together.
The workmanship warranty is ours.
The material warranty belongs to the manufacturer.
Those are two different warranties, and we keep them separate. That way, you know exactly what we stand behind, what the manufacturer covers, and where to turn if something goes wrong.
Four steps, and the first one is a phone call to the same number you called to book the estimate.
Same number, same company. There is no warranty department and no claim portal.
A photo helps, but we inspect the issue ourselves so we can see exactly what’s going on.
Workmanship, material, or outside factor. We will tell you honestly which one it is, and clearly explain what that means for your warranty.
If it is our workmanship, we fix it and you pay nothing for the labor.
“It’s hard to find companies you feel like you can genuinely trust, and Lionheart is one of them. They care about the quality of their work and the people they’re doing it for.”
— Lynz Halversen, Google review“You can tell they take a lot of pride in their work, and they make sure everything is done right and up to your standards.”
— Lynz Halversen, Google review“We’ve used Lionheart for 3 projects and every one of them has turned out better than we planned… this crew does excellent work and cleans up so well afterward that it might have been done by magic.”
— Jenifer Wright, Google reviewWhat counts as a workmanship problem?
Something that went wrong because of how we built it, such as a post not set properly, a gate not hung right, or parts not properly secured together.
What is excluded from the warranty?
Weather damage, accidents, misuse, ground movement, vegetation, animals, other outside factors, and normal wear and tear. Material defects and failures are subject to the applicable manufacturer warranty.
What is the difference between the workmanship and the material warranty?
The workmanship warranty is ours and covers installation. The material warranty belongs to the manufacturer and covers material defects or failures. They are separate warranties with separate coverage.
Does the warranty transfer if I sell the house?
It covers the original customer for as long as they own the property, so it does not carry over to a new owner. That is the limit as written.
Do I have to register the warranty?
No. It comes with the project, and it is in your paperwork. We put it in front of you at the estimate rather than after you have signed.
Is the warranty in the contract, or separate?
It is written down, and it is yours to read before you sign anything. You have the warranty terms in front of you, so you know exactly what they cover.
Does it cover storm damage?
No. Weather damage is one of the stated exclusions, along with accidents, ground movement, vegetation, and animals. Storm damage would be handled as a repair rather than a warranty issue.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Call us. We come out, inspect the issue, and determine whether it is workmanship, material, or an outside factor. If it is our workmanship, we repair it at no labor cost.
Tumwater is home base. Send us your location, and we can quickly tell you whether your property is within our service area.
We put the warranty in front of you at the estimate, not after. Free estimates, no obligation. Our project minimum is $5,000.
